Who is the real you?
Don’t confuse what you seem to be with what you really are. What you seem to be is but the barest fraction of what you really are. Drop the labels. Refuse to think of yourself as a name, as an occupation, as a person with a history who lives in a certain town in a certain country at a certain point in time. Refuse to accept these limitations; they are illusions belonging only to the outer realities of this world. All this is what you seem to be. Instead, turn your thoughts within to the real you. Ask yourself, “Who is this that observes?” One day you will find the answer, and on that day you will set yourself free.
